From Concept to Company
How we help founders, step by step
This is Terry's Startup Commercialization Checklist: twenty steps in four stages, from problem to scale. It is the framework our venture studio runs with every founder. Nothing gets skipped, nothing gets done twice, and our team of ten C-suite operators does the work alongside you.
Stage 1 of 4
Foundation & validation
Confirm there is a real problem and a viable solution before we build anything.
Before anyone builds anything, we pressure test the idea with you. That means talking to real potential customers, sizing the market honestly, and writing a value proposition that survives contact with strangers. Plenty of ideas change shape here. That is the point.

Stage 2 of 4
Business setup
Put the legal, financial and structural building blocks in place.
Once the idea holds up, we put the boring but load-bearing pieces in place: the entity, the operating agreement, banking, and a first pass at protecting your intellectual property. Founders who skip this stage pay for it later, usually at the worst possible time.
- Business model design
- Formation and legal
- Banking and credit
- Intellectual property strategy

Stage 3 of 4
Build & brand
Create the product and the identity that will represent it.
Now we build. A prototype or MVP scoped to answer your riskiest question, the technical development behind it, and the brand, website and social presence that make the company real to customers. Our operators do this work with you, not for a version of you we imagined.

Stage 4 of 4
Go to market & growth
Take the product to market, generate revenue and plan for scale.
Then we sell. Marketing that fits the stage you are actually at, a sales plan with names on it, pilots that turn into revenue, and a path to scale once the model proves out. First revenue changes everything, so we aim the whole framework at it.

Wondering how this compares to an accelerator?
We wrote a plain-English explainer on what a venture studio is and how it differs from accelerators, incubators and VC funds. The short answers to the questions founders ask most are on the FAQ page, and the proof is in our founder stories.
